Shoregate United Methodist Preschool is a nurturing, quality preschool program for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Located in Shoregate Methodist Church at 30500 Bayridge Boulevard, Willowick, we offer 2 1/2 or 3 hour classes designed to meet the academic, physical and social needs of your preschooler. For over 50 years the preschool has been the first step for children into the world of education.

Daily lesson plans are based on thematic units featuring topics such as dinosaurs, authors and illustrators, safety, insects, and nutrition. Each unit provides crafts and readiness activities designed to promote the skills your child needs for kindergarten. Our highly qualified staff incorporates the Ohio Department of Education Early Learning and Developmental Standards into every unit and throughout the day.

We provide plenty of opportunity for both large and small muscle activities in our indoor playroom and our enclosed outside play area.

Special events include holiday parties, a Christmas program and promotion ceremony. Our 4yr. old and Pre-K classes walk to the library and fire station. We end our school year with a family picnic in Lake Metroparks that includes a visit from Outback Ray.
